About This Data

On 27th January 2025, Reform UK stopped publishing live membership data on their website. Since then, the membership figures shown here are based on a machine learning algorithm developed by an independent anti-Reform campaigner.

While we know the creator wishes this data told a different story, even his own algorithm acknowledges that Reform UK's membership continues to grow. The model uses historical trends and publicly available signals to estimate current membership levels.

We present this data transparently so you can track the trajectory of Britain's fastest-growing political movement, while understanding the methodology behind the numbers.

The Rise of Reform UK — From Brexit Party to Britain's Fastest-Growing Movement

How It All Began

Reform UK's roots trace back to the Brexit Party, founded in 2018 by Nigel Farage to ensure that the result of the 2016 EU referendum was honoured. Within weeks of its launch, the Brexit Party became a political phenomenon — winning the 2019 European Parliament elections with more seats than any other UK party. It proved beyond doubt that there was a huge appetite for a new kind of politics in Britain.

Following the UK's departure from the European Union in January 2020, the party rebranded as Reform UK in November 2020, broadening its mission beyond Brexit to tackle the wider issues facing the country: immigration, the NHS, policing, the economy, and democratic reform.

Nigel Farage's Return

In June 2024, Nigel Farage announced his return as leader of Reform UK, electrifying the party and its supporters. The impact was immediate and dramatic. Membership numbers surged as thousands of people who had been waiting for the right moment decided that this was it — the time to join and be part of something historic.

Farage's return brought renewed media attention, energised the grassroots base, and gave Reform UK the kind of momentum that most political parties can only dream of. Under his leadership, the party secured five seats at the 2024 General Election — including Farage's own victory in Clacton — and over 4 million votes nationally, making Reform the third-largest party by vote share.

Record-Breaking Membership Growth

Since Farage's return, Reform UK's membership count has broken record after record. The party has consistently been adding new members at a rate that outpaces every other political party in the country. Key membership milestones — 100,000, 150,000, 200,000, 250,000 — have each been reached faster than the last, demonstrating accelerating growth rather than a temporary spike.

This sustained growth reflects a genuine grassroots movement. People across Britain — from former Conservative and Labour voters to first-time political joiners — are choosing to stand with Reform UK because they believe the country deserves better than what the establishment parties have delivered.

Why Reform UK Is Growing

The reasons behind Reform UK's membership surge are straightforward. After years of broken promises from successive governments, people want a party that says what it means and means what it says. Reform UK offers clear positions on the issues that matter most:

  • Immigration: A commitment to controlled, sustainable immigration with proper border security
  • NHS reform: Fixing the health service through genuine structural reform, not just more spending
  • Lower taxes: Putting more money back into the pockets of hardworking families
  • Law and order: More police on the streets and tougher sentences for criminals
  • Democratic reform: Making the political system work for the people, not the establishment

The Road Ahead

With the next general election on the horizon, Reform UK is building the membership base, campaign infrastructure, and parliamentary experience needed to deliver real change. Every new member strengthens the movement and brings Britain one step closer to the reform it desperately needs.
